Avoid renting from any property Vega manages. The worst rental company I have ever leased from. They will not answer any emails or calls. You have to physically go into the office to get any response and when you do the staff are completely unprofessional and rude. They will do anything to try to hold onto the security deposit at time of move out. We did not receive our security deposit until more than 21 days after we moved and the only reason they mailed it was because we emailed and called several times and finally went in person. They then double charged us for a maintenance fee to hang curtains that they requested were dry cleaned so we left them in the bag for dry cleaning. They never returned the rest of our deposit. On the day I was moving out they were sending people to view the apartment without ever informing me so as I am moving boxed people were showing up for tours. They also forgot about the scheduled final walk through and only showed up 1 hour later after I called several times. They also did not even have our original lease on file when we announced we were moving out and when I followed up about the move out date they tried to say we didn’t give 30 days although we had emailed and spoken with them in person regarding it.

They served us a 30 day notice to vacate on the 9th day as a money grab to get more money. After being on a month to month lease, we stated that we were going to leave on the 3rd and that we’d pay the prorated rent for those days. Apparently we have to pay for days we aren’t going to be living there calculating up to $794 for 9 days (our rent was $2,735). I asked for a breakdown of the amount of those nine days and was told by Bridget that she was only going to communicate with my mother moving forward since “I wasn’t acting like an adult.” That’s pathetic! I’m an adult paying rent here. Do not rent with Vega investments they’re slum lords.

The agent didn't show up for an apartment viewing we scheduled a few days earlier. When I called the office they told me there is a deposit on that apartment already. Sadly they forgot to let me now and cancel our meeting.

Scammers. Nothing gets fixed when you notify them. Heating and cooling systems were not working and no wires telephone jack in unit, but they refused to fix. Property manager doesn’t respond to calls, voice messages, texts, or emails. Cable guy came out to wire internet, phone, cable which is landlord’s responsibility, but the ground was arcing in the subpanel so he refused to install since it’s unsafe. I notified property manager I’m leaving due to unit being uninhabitable; but I guess she was “in the hospital “ so the other dunces had no clue what was going on. Not legit property management company.

Terrible company! Save your time and money with these people. We were first time renters and we decided to go with Vega for our first application. We applied for one of their properties and was denied for credit but we had a co-signer with perfect credit scores. Then we were told that our application couldn’t even be used for ANY of their future listings. Makes absolutely no sense. We both got higher paying jobs and better credit and they started to ignore our calls and finally answered with stating they’ve told us they will no longer look at our applications again. These people have so many “affordable” housing they’re leasing out and yet we can’t apply for a single one of them anymore? SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!

Don’t apply here for rental. They are big scammers, they will take your money but have no follow up with your application. I applied twice and paid for their application’ fees, but I never get any news from them. I think they are best for scamming people then a place to look for housing. I would gave them zero if there was a option.

I have limited experience with Vega Investments but so far they have been great! I am a first time renter and they were my first call. I had a lot of questions and staff was very nice in helping out.

I have been trying to squeeze in my application and 2 roommates applications while working during the day. I haven't been exactly organized.

Shout out to Erika for going above and beyond with letting me know what was missing for each person.

Felt the need to give a positive review because from my experiences so far they are better than the 2 stars on here.

Thanks for all the help up to this point.

Quick edit: only minor issue I did experience is that I would have liked to have been notified that there were going to be additional people looking at a house, but idk, maybe that's just a personal preference and not industry standards.
