I absolutely love it here. I moved in about a month ago and it is the cutest most peaceful complex. Everything was perfectly clean and working great when I moved in. The maintenance staff even helped me carry some heavier items in because I was by myself. The leasing staff was so helpful. They actually helped me go from tour to having the keys to my new apartment in 48 hours. Rosemary in the office was just absolutely wonderful. Love it here and highly highly recommend

I lived at Vesta from 2022 through October 2024. I first want to say how fantastic the maintenance team is. They will be on top of requests, even minor. They are constantly positive and respectful.
The apartments on move in are mostly clean, with only any outside storage closets not looking tip top. Ventilation isn't perfect in the 3 bed kitchen so if the cleaning team misses the tops of cabinets as ours did, they can be quite grungy, but this is a minor detail and should not detract from how clean the place was overall.
There are two big asterisks to living at Vesta. The amenities and some of the community. There will be kids out and about, if that's not your thing or if you like to drive fast to get home, this isn't the place for you. Sadly it has been seen that some of the children in the community do sometimes take things that are not theirs. This has led to property/packages being stolen from my front door, and in one case it being taken from the apartment directly. Because of this I recommend keeping your door locked at all times just in case. Know that if you choose not to file a police report in these cases, the complex will not take any action themselves. (I'm not trying to send kids to juvey)
To counter the issue above, the community is friendly. Very few sore faces and it is very family based. It is mostly very quiet and easy to relax if you are used to being around kids.
The amenities are... inconsistent. During my stay I was sadly unable to use on site amenities often due to different weather related events, which to be fair to Vesta is not their fault, but they did not seem to be very ready to weatherproof areas. A light rain overnight will make the tennis court unusable for example. The upside is that there are multiple locations for amenities like pools etc. but the other location is offsite at Redmond Hill Apartments next door. I was not informed at move in that the amenities were available at Redmond Hill so I ended up not ever going.
When the amenities are available, they're great. Very convenient and Vesta shows a commitment to upkeeping them (just not weather proofing).
Vesta is not over bearing as a landlord, and will do what they can to make life enjoyable. This is especially seen by the maintenance team. The cost is mostly fair (everywhere costs too much, so they are just the norm), but you will probably lose most of your security deposit no matter the condition you leave your place at move out.
My biggest pain point and point of feedback: The move out / lease continuation process is not streamlined enough, with notice only being done through traditional email, etc. this caused an email to be missed by a staff member which led to a lot of frustration during our move out. Vesta, you have a great online portal, so why not utilize it more for things like this?
I pointed out a lot of the negatives, but this is mainly to help Vesta get better in those areas. I want to clearly state that the time I lived here was very nice. Neighbors are friendly, apartments are well kept and not overly old. Heating always worked through winter and again, the team overall is awesome. I recommend living here despite some areas that could use improvement.

I recently vacated my apartment, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Vesta management team was exceptional throughout my stay. They were always responsive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable.
The maintenance team deserves a special shout-out as well. Whenever there was an issue, whether big or small, they addressed it promptly and with great efficiency. Their professionalism and dedication made living here a real pleasure.
I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Residents of the Vesta Apartment complex, managed by the ESSEX group, have been facing a significant issue for the past four months. The common amenities such as the swimming pool, gym, shuttle service and tennis court have not been maintained and are currently closed. These facilities are essential for residents' health and well-being, contributing to their quality of life. It is unacceptable that these services remain unavailable despite being included in our rent.
In Washington state law (RCW 59.18.060), landlords must maintain fit premises which includes keeping common areas reasonably clean and safe. By failing to upkeep these amenities, ESSEX group is not only diminishing our living experience but potentially violating state regulations.
We call upon ESSEX group to immediately address this issue by resuming regular maintenance on all common amenities at Vesta Apartments and ensuring they remain accessible for all residents as per rental agreements. We urge fellow residents and concerned citizens to sign this petition in support of our cause.

OMG! Well I can not even begin to share about my disatisfaction. I have been locked out of my garage since yesterday.Experiancing health issues which is currently scheduled for a procedure to insert a balloon into my... anyway, I was called by Vesta's Anthony who explained that because this was not deemed an emergency, I would have to call back on Tuesday. So this is why my call Saturday was never returned?
UPDATE:
So Anthony called back to basically dictate to me "wht they will do". The problem begins when Anthony informs me that "we" are "only" "oppening the door once." I imediately said that with the catalytic compresser already stole twice at 2 grand a pop. Not excitable. The problem now was explained in it's enitirety only when finished. I was told again, w""What we are willing to do". Unless I am insured by Vesta I can not continue to see my catayatic compressor stolen again. And, in my current state, have no idea when I could visit the garage about a block from my door with stairs. WOW! I can't understand any of this Especially Anthony and his lost care. Hard to see...
UPDATE:
Well, time to prepare. Hope I do not need to call an abulance. But, now that Anthony confirmed talking with our property manager. Guess it's time... I hope that people like Anthony and the manger both re-consider thier definition of "EMERGENCY" which is why I was told to wait until Tuesday by Anthony. Not Cool Vest Apartments, Redmond, WA UPDATE 02-15-2025 The outcome was that the Vetrans sent an medical transport that took me to and from what was a succesful procedure. I will never forget my unbelievable pleas to Anthony who was not going to help. Not sure even today, WHY?

It's that time of year again when the Vesta team is busy with summer maintenance, that includes our three refreshing pools. Love the summer time. I'm was also excited to share my list of suggestions, and happy to see not one but almost all... Special thanks to the maintenance team. I am so happy to continue calling Vesta Apartments my home of over 10 years...

As a tenant, I have encountered a few issues at this property:
The badminton court has been closed for approximately 8 months, which has been an inconvenience for residents who enjoy using that amenity.
The property does not allow the use of smart home devices like the Ring doorbell system, which limits the convenience and security features that many tenants have come to expect.

The moving experience is great but that’s all about it. All maintenance takes more than 6 months and still facilitates are closed. No ETA on fixing the indoor court and swimming pool.
1. If you are a newly moving in check with them on maintenance timeline for the indoor facilities. They will make up some stories. And tell you to use the nearby redmond hill facility that do not have any indoor court or swimming pool.
2. If some thing happens in the apt when you are staying or moving out then they charge you a lot. One of my friend was asked to pay 40000$ because pipe burst during winter. This is no fault of residents.
3. Kids play cricket and soccer on the road and scratch the vehicle parked nearby. No actions taken by facilities.
4. Multiple breakins and thefts nearby. Bikes go lost.
5. The apt is very old - maked up with new paint. The covered car parking can fall any time on your car and the facility do not take any responsibility. This happened just couple of months ago
6. Each apt have water sprinkler that can burst any time. One of the resident sprinkler broke when they were cooking normally (no fire or smoke) still the water sprinkler broke and ruined entire apt.
7. Once you move in then you are stuck for 5 years. Because if you move out anytime before that you will end up paying a huge amount . they charge you fees for carpet change even if there if small stains that can go away with carpet wash.Mandatory full painting. Just forget your deposit and also be prepared to pay a huge amount.
The list goes on and on.
Leaving one star here only after dropping multiple emails to facilities asking to fix the facilities and no action taken.
It’s just a nightmare on why I signed a lease here when there are multiple good apt near by.
