One of the best apartments views of the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff AZ, I'd like to write a longer better review for this place but when I do it Google keeps not allowing my reviews to go through or my photos to be posted.

Absolutely love the Village at Aspen Place! The location is perfect, with everything I need just a short walk away. The amenities are top-notch, making every day feel like a resort vacation. The apartments themselves are spacious, modern, and well-maintained.

A huge shoutout to the staff in the front office! Ryan, Nate and Naomi are always friendly, professional, and go above and beyond to ensure residents are happy and well taken care of. Whether it's a maintenance request or just a quick question, they handle everything with efficiency and a smile.

We this place, but in the recent two weeks there have been obnoxious college students using the hot tub. I’ve seen the security guys make them leave when it’s late. But at 8 in the evening they are jumping in the hot tub, being loud, splashing water. This place is amazing and I hope it doesn’t turn into the Elara. This isn’t a complex for students who have little respect.
We have also witnessed people who obviously don’t live here using the amenities and then leaving and driving away.

I'm writing an honest review of The Village at Aspen Place. PROS: Maintenance. The maintenance crew here is top notch. They are ON IT! If something needs repaired, an online ticket is processed and the issue is taken care of efficiently . The Office Staff. The office staff here is absolutely unheard of incredible. They are all so nice and professional and respond of all you needs. I moved here from a bad situation and they (especially Naomi and Ryan) can talk you and walk you through circumstances in life as well as at the apartment itself. Location. There are awesome restaurants and shops right here in the same development - and it's very close to downtown. The flagstaff Urban Trail System is 2 blocks away for walking your dog, or getting out there on your mountain bike to connect to trails, etc. CONS: The layout of the building. Period. The layout stinks. I have built and sold homes, I have designed them and picked out everything from the windows to the roof to the plumbing and lighting fixtures, etc. The layout of this building is absolutely horrible. There is ONE trash chute on each floor which is located near the parking garage. If you want to live here, be sure to be as CLOSE to the parking garage side of the building as possible - or get a wagon to haul your trash three city blocks. That is the fault of the developers; The developers were incredibly cheap - so cheap, I feel like complaining to the City of Flagstaff to never ever let the developers of this apartment complex to EVER have approval to build in this town again. (VanTrust Real Estate and EPC Real Estate Groups) The interior fixtures, cabinets, flooring, etc. are so cheap that if anything happened to destroy them, it would be CHEAP to fix. Makes me wonder about the foundation and roof integrity. The rooms are DARK. It's like the developers had a blueprint from some other mega apartment development complex in Phoenix or someplace else and just "plopped it down" on this land. They didn't take into account south facing sunlight (in fact there is a very long hallway to the parking garage on the south side of the building and no apartments) Totally LAZY. The placement of the light switches is not conducive to turning on lights when you leave a bedroom to the living area. Really I could have done a better electrical layout.
It is such a massive complex it's like living in a very large hotel. Or large resort- because the amenities are nice. But it doesn't feel like home.
THIS PLACE IS BUILT AND MEANT FOR TEMPORARY USE. Which, now thinking about the money making side of the equation - they were successful.
Oh, and they still have "junk fees" here, like their "pest control fee" which is only $3.00 but a LOT to a billionaire CEO(Bob Faith) who has millions of units. Junk fees have been illegal since 2022 and there is a class action law suit against Greystar now pending in Colorado for their "junk fees". Stay tuned to how far and wide this class action lawsuit grows. Having said that - the lease agreement and everything else about this place is run by corporate lawyers.
They also charge on top of the base rent common area utilities - Trash, Gas, Electric, and "utility reimbursement other" ... not quite sure what the "other" is referring to. An additional $82 is on my bill in addition to base rent for these common area utilities.
Would I choose to live here again? I really don't know. If you have a pet NO!! Unless you are on the first or second floor. And absolutely NOT unless you are close to the trash chute (parking lot side) of the building.
And that's my review.
PS: I wrote a company review on their website and praised everyone but not the layout of this complex, and I got a phone call!! REVIEWERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

This place is huge, call it Colossus, as it looks like dystopia future with its heavy lumber upward spirals to the third floor just to hold a small private patio that no one really would use, except the sales agent. You can see it from the freeway 10 mi away,

There are many things to love about life at The Village at Aspen Place. There is always plenty of parking, my neighbors are friendly, the shops below are convenient and make for fun afternoons. My apartment itself is well put together with nice furnishings and I love the storage unit I have on my floor. I can rarely hear my neighbors, and the staff in the lobby is always helpful and understanding.
That being said, no place is perfect. There is a crazy high amount of pets here which makes urine and feces in the elevators an almost daily occurrence. In the month or so I've been here both the hot tub and trash chute have been broken twice. My trash chute room also has trash that people can't fit in the chute on a regular basis. I don't blame the complex at all, as in these cases it is the faults of tenant irresponsibility, and the staff is always helpful in getting matters resolved. The downsides are just important to know before choosing The Village at Aspen as a home.

I was only a guest for an event so I can’t speak to the property management and staff; however the property is beautiful and well out together. The pool area and separate spa area are serene and the gym is fairly decent for a apartment complex fitness center. I appreciated the oversized hallways that would make move in/move outs a dream come true.
