I just recently moved in here and I’m soo happy I chose Village Hills. The transition was extremely easy with the wonderful staffs help. I am disabled and that seemed to make them try even harder!!!! It’s nice and peaceful which surprised me because there are a lot of units. Very content here.

I had a financial dilemma that had been stressing me for weeks and Allie immediately gave me my options and necessary paperwork and my stress was gone. Allie was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in a kind way.

Two mantiniece workers named Cody and Shane came in and fixed all the problems in my grandmother's house. They fixed everything with speed, efficiency, and polite manners. Thank you so much! I would give you 10 stars if possible haha.

Absolutely terrible management. All they care about is money. My bedroom has been soaked with water running in from the apartment next door. I told the landlord Kenneth about it. He acted like there were better priorities for maintenance. My neighbor who lives 2 doors down from me has lived with mold in her apartment for months (has pictures) NOTHING has been done about it. Do not move here!!!!

My son resides there and had an urgent maintenance issue. Linda was very attentive and promptly and efficiently got the matter handled. Maintenance was there within 24 hrs (because it was an urgent matter) and fixed the problem. Both office staff and maintenance very polite and professional.

So I wasn't going to even leave a review with this complex because I was tired of all the issues I went through living here, But at this point I feel the truth should be known especially since this recent issue I'm having with them which will be posted at the end of story time, So here goes my story ; This was my first time owning my own apartment to start my own life and you can believe I was excited, One day hoped to start a family, Living here my first issue I had was my hot water shower knob in the bathroom, The screw was so completely rusted that it snapped down the middle where I couldn't fix it myself and their maintenance team was notified of this issue multiple times a long with photos of said issue and their response always was "we will get someone out there as soon as we can" I lived there a whole year with a broken hot shower knob and that was a hassle to try and shower for work, My second issue is I never told anyone my address because that was my private life, my door looked like someone tried breaking into my apartment, prior tenant issues? Probably. Again they were notified of said issue along with photos as proof and their fix to it was to drill holes deeper and put longer screws because my door frame was destroyed, I was told they couldn't fix it right away because they would need to put an "over budget request" in to fix the whole door frame, so lovely I'm pregnant with a messed up door and they can't fix it when charging me about $650 a month? Linda chuckled when I called to confirm that someone would be out there to fix it that day I called and again, she chuckled, so professional. Lovely. Leaking bathroom sink, sure that got fixed, wrooong, whoever fixed it from their maintenance team screwed up the repair where after telling me it was fixed they left, so a month almost goes by and I go down there to grab a tampon to find mold, BLACK MOLD, Which I called them and went to the office with photos and was told someone would be sent out to fix it, they never did, so i was living with black mold at 7months pregnant and could not wait to leave. I turned in my keys 3 days before my lease was up and got a signature from one of their management that I turned my keys in at a timely manner will NOT be renewing a lease with them and now they have tried charging me for 3 months worth of rent when I'm not living there cause I explained In a certified letter about me leaving by the time my lease was up which was 3/31/2024 and here we are with me being "charged" rent for 4/24,5/24, and 6/24.
