This would probably be a 4 star review, but this complex advertises itself as a "luxury apartment" and after living here for 2 years, I can definitely say that is not. The office staff is incredibly rude. There were times in the first few months when I moved in that I would put in for a maintanence request and the office manager would call and basically tell me that doesn't need to be fixed. The dog poop is everywhere and doesn't get picked up, the lawn is stained from the dog pee also. The gym is hardly a gym, it is just a few cardio machines and light dumbbells and a cable machine that doesn't work properly. I've reported the cable machine a few times and it was never fixed. The floors are so pretty but if the people who lived there before you didn't take good care of them, then your floors will not be nice. I don't think they do any repairs to them. When I moved in there were several chipped tiles and stains which takes away from the luxoriuous look of the floors. The cabinets are a pretty color but also cheaply made. Mine were also cracked and stained in several places when I moved. The "access panel" next to the dishwasher was a loose peice with screws sticking out that could be dangerous for a pet or child. I asked for this to be fixed and was told it was supposed to be like that. A piece of my island broke up which really looked back and was told "oh we will fix that when we move out" at this point I had no plans to move in the near future. This could be a luxury apartment, but a lot changes are definitely needed.

My husband and I have loved living at the Villas at Riverside! The apartments are so nice, and the area feels very safe! The managers were always so reachable and accommodating! They are some very kind and genuine people! It was also a great home for our teacup maltipoo, as the apparent complex is very dog friendly! These are easily the nicest apartments I have lived in / seen in the shoals area!

I loved living at Villas at Riverside. The apartment management and maintenance staff are friendly, quick, and do their jobs well. My year at the property was safe, comfortable, and convenient to both Muscle Shoals and Florence. The apartments themselves are modern and up to date. The pool is such an added bonus for relaxation. Truly a peaceful and comfortable place to live.

Rent increased $400 in last 3 months after Corporate bought out their investors. Increased everyone's rent to pay for the higher mortgage costs. Average place to live, not "Luxury" compared to other apartments. "Gym" is 4 treadmills, no actual weight benches or squat stations. The pool is closed almost half the year. They did not build enough parking spaces, so many renters have to park far away from their units. It's clean and a friendly place to live, but that doesn't justify almost $1400 a month in rent. If you need a place to live, go for it, but don't expect to save any money here unless you are a dual-income family or higher and can share the rent price.

Love the Villas! New apartments and amenities, management is great and are easy to work with, the complex is always very clean, & the maintenance team is prompt & fix any issue that may arise. Highly recommend!

I’m giving 2 stars because they don’t have the prices listed on the site. But this place is over priced. I called for pricing and their literally the most expensive apartments in the shoals period. 2 br is literally over $1,200 a month. Im going to assume a 1br is 1,000.

Update: lol! not surprised they responded to my post. That parking lot is empty ain’t no way every unit is full and now I know why, look at the price.

Lovely place to live! Brand new everything!! Management and staff are all really nice. There are Walking Trails and lake/dam very close!!!!
