I rented an apartment right near grant park in a beautiful old building with so much character. I lived there for two years and couldn't have had a better experience. The building was old and had its kinks but all the natural light from the windows, vintage setting and overall positive vibes of the building more than made up for it. VP always dealt with any requests or concerns I had very kindly (Virgie is an absolute darling). If I didn't get a job out of state I'd probably have stayed for years.

I have been living in my home for 3 years and they took over my home the second year of being here. I do have a whole house that i rent from them . I appreciate how effective they are when it comes to fixing things. I can report an issue and they come and fix it asap. Anytime i call i do have to go through the system to get a call back but i always get a response i am thoroughly pleased with how they handle business.

I've been a resident of VP Investors for close to a year or more, and I have loved my experience. Their management and communication is solid. They're a very reasonable landlord and will work with you to make sure you are comfortable. I would highly recommend this landlord to anyone seeking housing.

I unfortunately had a bad experience with this company. I believe they are very nice people, but don't manage their business very well. We had a friend moving out and suggested that we take her unit since we were looking to move. We were looking for a June move in and she was not moving out until end of April. The property was not on the market yet and had not been posted to their site. We got in contact with the company, we sat down to talk on 4/10, and they took all of our information and we filled out an application. They suggested a June 1st move in and we confirmed.They said they could get the application done within a few days, I reached out on 4/12 to see if the application screening was complete and they said they were running a day behind. Totally understandable! However, I did not hear back until 4/17 that we were approved so it took a week. After we were approved, they told us that they could not hold the unit anymore until June and said that they do not hold a unit for more than 30 days. This all stemmed because this person did not check on the move in date with the manager before he ran my application and my credit. Also, my friend was not moving out until end of April and we would move in June 1st. Realistically, this is only a 31 day hold. We asked to speak to the manager to get this resolved and never heard back. Then today on 5/7, the company texts me to ask if I'm still interested in the unit for a June 1st move in. This all could have been avoided in the first place if proper communication was occurring on their end. I find it inconsiderate to run someone's credit and application and then go back on their word for a move in date, and then to text me weeks later to see if I'm still interested. The answer was no as we needed to find a new home ASAP and had moved on weeks ago. They have nice people working at this company, but they need to work on their customer service skills and realize that they service PEOPLE who are looking for a home. If you are looking for a company that keeps their word, is considerate about your time and your needs, and gets back to you in a timely matter, I would not suggest them.

I have contacted them and now state as well . They fail to take care of their property not realizing the damage being done . I keep records of everything down to every maintenance call to phone call I’m so over this company taking my rent and not actually keeping up with their property , but I’m sure you guys will like the fines coming your way . Never ever again! I honestly wish I knew the actual landlord just to inform him of how you guys are managing his property because let me tell you it isn’t well at all.

Avoid this horrendous apartment management company at all costs! They deceitfully took an unjustified chunk from my security deposit without notifying me. The living conditions were appalling, infested with rats and bed bugs. I had no choice but to leave after just 2 months. Stay away from this nightmare!
