BEWARE of using this company for rentals! we cancelled our reservation using Air BnB three months before the trip and they stated that their refund policy applies within 48 hours of making the reservation. After that, they keep your money! Air BnB could not assist. Almost $600 they are keeping and we got nothing back in return! I have never seen a refund policy so strict at any Air BnB / Hotels that I have ever stayed in.

We had absolutely the worst experience with this travel host that we have ever had. Miranda, who is apparently the owner of her property management company that handled the booking/checkin process has no clue about what customer service is and should be. First off, we booked through Hopper and in the confirmation email at the very end there is a paragraph that states if you didn’t book through Airbnb, there is a non refundable security insurance deposit due prior to checkin. We missed that so the day before we were checking in Miranda sends an email with a threat to not have our code activated if we don’t make that payment. How about a friendly reminder instead of a threat? We did it right away and confirmed with her that she got it, then asked her to verify the address and send the code. At that point, she went dark on us with no response. An hour before our check-in, we still had no code or address confirmation, so we reached out again. At 3:40, or 20 minutes before check-in, she confirmed the address and said she would “resend” the check-in instructions shortly. However you can’t “resend” something you never sent. At this point it felt like she was holding off giving us the code until right at check-in or even after just so we wouldn’t try to get in any earlier than our reservation. At 4 o’clock, we still hadn’t received the code from her and by this time we were fed up so we called Hopper at 4:05. Hopper has a guarantee that if you have trouble checking in, they will put you in an equivalent place so we decided to pursue that option. However, they had to check with Miranda to find out what was going on. They placed us on hold and about 10 minutes later, the rep came back and said he had placed 2 to 3 calls that went unanswered so he asked us to wait 15 minutes and call him back as he had emailed her, and then he gave us her number to try ourselves. We called the number and luckily for us it was picked up by a lady named Jenna. She informed us that Miranda had left for the day, but she was the after hours contact. We explained to her what was going on and that Miranda was probably the worst host we had ever experienced. She then informed us the Miranda owned the company which made us very sad for her. Jenna was great. She immediately texted the code and we tried the code and it didn’t work, so she remotely reset it for us and gave us a backup code in case it still didn’t work - the fact the code didn’t work further demonstrated to us that Miranda was messing with us intentionally so we couldn’t get in. All in all, the place was fine, Jenna was exceptional but Miranda deserves for her business to fail as she is a rude and disrespectful host. The bottom line is that when you book a place in advance as we did, it really is nice to get reassurance that everything is set for your checkin and unfortunately this was not the case and created a lot of last minute stress as we were in town for a wedding.

At a time where it's been hard to not feel taken advantage of, in almost all aspects of daily living, it was incredibly refreshing to find a company that is truly honest, responsive and comfortably professional. We felt financially and personally secure staying at their properties. That has been an incredibly hard feat, finding a PM company to work with that holds such qualities. Always been as such, but especially hard in this new intense rental/housing climate. We'll remember and use them again in the future, and will always appreciate the going above and beyond to assist.
