We applied to rent a home in Manteca and they never even ran our credit reports, checked our employment, verified rental history, but kept our $160 “Application Fees”! This is a violation of The California Civil Code §1950.6 is one of the most important regulations of the residential application fees for California. A property owner or agent must not keep a screening fee if there was no credit report run and no reference check performed. So where is my $160 WG? Do the legal/right thing and return my families money back for a place you “chose” someone else to rent the home too. What you did is absolutely wrong!

I cleaned the house we were renting spotless and they still kept an unnecessary amount of the deposit claiming one of the reasons were, “dust on the blinds.” I should have sued, but my litigation knowledge was not on par. Just keep pictures of everything (if you clean it) and request a personal walk through Before you leave.

Rented from them for years.Great company. The new receptionist is nothing but rude when trying to resolve an issue that went bad through a divorce. I never imagined a person could be that rude and disrespectful!
