Our experience with Willow Street was wonderful! Our initial meeting was with Kate. We lived out of state at the time. She was great about meeting last minute, on a Saturday, to show the property. We were able to apply and hold the property from afar. When we arrived, the whole family of Willow Street was incredibly welcoming, making our family of 4 feel comfortable the minute we walked into their office. During our rental experience, we never had a problem. If we had a maintenance request, Rachel made sure it was addressed and scheduled within 24 hours. If we had any questions, Debbie was always open to communication with quick responses. Mark and Shannon were amazing during our pre move out inspection, making sure we had no surprises at the final inspection. We only rented from Willow Street for a year because we ended up purchasing a home but they truly take care of their renters, as well as the properties for the owners. If we decide to rent our home out in the future, without a question, we will use Willow Street!

We decided to hire Willow Street Property Management to manage our Temecula rental home after looking at a number of options, including doing it ourselves. In addition to reading the reviews here on Yelp, we also talked to a number of renters in the neighborhood, as well as having direct dealings with the PM company that managed the property next door to ours. Let me just say that I wouldn't trust most of them.

Willow Street Property Management was, hands down, the best choice. They're not a real estate brokerage doing PM on the side. They're a family owned business doing Property Management exclusively. Mark, Debbie and the entire crew are very professional, and it's clear they take a lot of pride in what they do.

Things worth noting: they do a good job screening prospective tenants; their vendors are all top notch, which is a huge benefit when your 100 miles away -- we know that things get done right and at a fair price; and their book keeping is timely and accurate. It short, you will not regret trusting this company to manage your asset.

One caveat though, part of what makes Willow Street a smart choice is that they have a well-developed system for managing all aspects of your property. The upside of this is that everything gets managed. The challenging part is that you have to let them manage it. This means letting go of control, which can be a bit hard at first. Having been with them now for six months, I have no regrets. I am free to focus on my work without worrying about what's happening with our property.

We LOVED our EXPERIENCE with Willow Street Property Management! My family searched for several rental homes thru other property management company's only to find out that they are all for special interests Till we met with Kate and Debbie. They made us feel like we were their family members.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is... Unfortunately, that was our experience when we planned on hiring Willow Management.

Their presentation was terrific, they appeared knowledgeable, but we felt we were being charged above list for services and we had to make the follow up calls.

Our timing was most likely off, it can happen.
However, we decided to seek the services of a different management company.

My first rating of Willow Street Property was a two. Since, the owner has made false accusations, slandered my name I am changing my rating to a one.

Sadly, almost two and a half years later #WillowStreetPropertyMang has replied to my review on Yelp.

Unfortunately, Deborah is slandering my name and I have never met the woman. I believe, I met her husband.

He arrived late to our appointment, told us they charge 10% for their Nordstroms type of service and then said he had to go run a two hour errand.

We said, next!

I am happy to write that we went with Tyson Robinson Realty of Temecula. Tyson Real Estate has provided us with fabulous service.

I would not recommend this company at all as a renter or owner. They do not check on work performed by their vendors, which is almost always subpar or not completed at all (I have 20 plus examples). They drive by the house on a regular basis and take photos as well as take numerous photos of the inside and backyard when they "check on the safety and maintenance" and then send the photos to the owner of the home. It is a complete invasion of privacy. Upon moving out, I would recommend that tenants do not clean, fill nail holes or do anything. You will NOT get your deposit back regardless. I would also recommend that someone moving into one of their properties takes MANY photos initially. We were charged for flaws that were there when we moved in. There are California renters laws which define "normal wear and tear" and many other things which they seem to ignore. If I had not moved out of state and had the time and energy to do so, I would file a law suit against them...and I have never even written a bad review about a company before, let alone sue anyone! After being a tenant and seeing how little they bring to the table, I would NEVER pay them money to manage my home.

They were basically pleasant to rent from, nice while we lived there, have a horrible handy woman that's a joke when she comes to "fix" things and then held our deposit hostage and shorted us money to pay for a mess they made while having the carpets replaced after we vacated the property. Huge disappointment go else where for your property manangement needs there plenty of other people that don't live in mansions and need to take your money unjustely !!!!!
