I worked with Doug Hallock and his business partner, Jessica to sell my 93 year old father's house. This was a VERY complicated process because the house was in trust, there was extensive deferred maintenance and multiple Power of Attorneys for my father who didn't always agree. Doug worked tirelessly providing the best advice to pull divergent thinking into a unified path. The end result: the sale of my dad's house and happy customers. Doug did more than the standard realtor, everything from negotiating with difficult contractors hired for major repairs, to making minor repairs himself, to transporting junk to the dump and more. He had a solution for every roadblock and persisted with us when things got challenging.

We had an extremely unpleasant experience with Doug Hallock and Jessica Garrett. They promised the moon, and gave us one star. They did not disclose all offers, including one from their own office! They deliberately kept information from us about the buyers we would have MUCH preferred. Doug repeatedly used sexist and racist speech, referring to a competing agent with derogatory, anti-semitic terminology.
When I repeatedly could not reach Jessica because her box was always full, I complained to Doug and he suggested I "take her over my knee and spank her." I have bought and sold numerous properties and this is without a doubt the most dishonest, lazy team I have ever encountered. They absolutely did NOT have our best interests in mind. They repeatedly and relentlessly pushed us to the offer that they were both the buyer and seller's agents for, for their own gain.
I would leave one star, but, the Kingston Office itself was very responsive to our complaints, and treated us professionally. So. Don't avoid the Kingston Windermere, but run don't walk away from Doug Hallock and Jessica Garrett. They should not be allowed to keep their licenses.
