We used Windermere Signature Properties / Real Estate (Lyon at the time) for both selling our home and purchasing a new one. A much longer process than it should have been (5 months). I wish we didn't proceed past one month and took a break of it when home sales plummeted. It would have been nice to have had that recommendation but they are very self-oriented.
Transparency was nonexistent, trust was not warranted, and confidence in services provided was negligible. Barring California laws regarding against selling your own home (as told by my realtor), I would've done a much better job with advertising and negotiating on both transactions. A novice like myself, or any person actually invested in the client and not their own profit, would have. We even lost our high end appliances because our realtor and his broker said so.. they were not included nor contracted and I was repeatedly inquiring prior to close. And, the broker told me that I could get a lawyer…
There are fees for services not provided are costly and they use their own affiliates but state you've "shopped" for them for the services they do provide. They are in the business of acquiring money and not providing a true service. Neither our realtor nor one of his peers met us at the house to give us our keys when we finalized our purchase. The key was left beneath the door mat and we received no alarm codes or combination lock codes. Not professional at all.
Update: Windermere Signature Properties refused to deliver/ mail hard copies of either the purchase of our new home nor the sale of our previous home. This was requested and guaranteed during the signing of all documents. We paid an extensive amount of money for very little results.

Worst experience dealing with property management. Be aware of scams. I applied for a property in Davis. The requirement for a credit score was at least 650. Mine was 730. Despite this fact, they told me that my score is 630! And told me if I have a problem with that check it with Equifax credit company!! (They assumed they can just send me away and I did not know anything about my credit score) I contacted the company, pulled out my score and it was 731! I called them and told them that they did something wrong and should recheck my score (I assumed at this point that they made a mistake) but they told me that they cannot do it and recheck it!!! That was when I realized something going on! Why they can't recheck it! Obviously it was lame excuse! I insisted that they are wrong and I can prove it! They just wasted my time for 5days, thinking I am letting it go!
So if you want to know one type of discrimination! Here it is! If your name (like mine) somehow reveals that you are an international, they think you do not know anything about credit score, so do not deal with this company! You will regret it! Fortunately for me, my conversation with their agent is being recorded.

Worked with Aimee Hanson for managing our rental. She was very professional and took care of everything. In our first meeting, she estimated how much the place would rent for and how long it would take to find a tenant. Both were right on the dot. Very satisfied.

Hello.

Sorry about the 3 but let me explain why.

I have not heard a word from your company in over 6 months. I have heard nothing of a 6 month inspection that was supposed to be done according to the FIRST property manager we had. Have you done one?

So how can I rate any higher when I actually have no idea what is going on. Yes the rent is paid. But honestly? That's about all I know.

What is the condition of the property?

So as u can see here, how do I rate your actions when there are none? That I know of.
