I've been renting from Windfeel Properties since 2018, so 5 years now. I first moved into an efficiency apartment with Windfeel Properties. I was at this location for 4 years and the property owner, David, and property manager, Ashley, always responded to any issues with my apartment very promptly. I was so impressed, I wanted to stay with this company for future rentals. When I outgrew my first apartment, Miss Ashley helped me find a larger unit with everything I was looking for to upgrade and stay within my budget. I am very satisfied with my experience with Windfeel Properties the last 5 years and will stay with them as long as I remain in New Orleans 🙂

The owner of the property at 1025 Richard St. did not return my full security deposit when there was in fact no reason for him not to do so. He mailed me a list of damages. All of the damages on the list existed when I moved into the house. I informed him of this, and he did not reply. Bob, thanks for charging me for someone else's damages. You are a beacon of justice and professionalism.

The owner of the property on 1023 Richard St is refusing to pay back my full deposit. Our water was included in our agreement and we lived there from 2017 to 2022. Bob the owner or the house has hired Windfeel Properties to manage his home. However, Bob has claimed the water bill was high recently and decided he won't give back the deposit, even though water is included in rent. I have never had or paid a water bill here as it wasn't due by me. I now has to sue him and go to court to get back what is rightfully ours. I highly discourage anyone from renting at 1023 Richard Street. Windfeel Properties said they cannot do anything to help even though they manage this property. Proceed with extreme caution as this property company can't help you.

In addition to this, there was a huge flea infestation in the back yard and the owner tried to blame us for it. After we hired a flea company to come out of our own dime, they told us there were ANIMALS LIVING UNDER THE HOUSE. We then had proof that it was nothing to do with us. The owner had told us we should just get rid of our dog even though it wasn't even him that caused it.

Spoke to a lady named Kathleen, I believe, about a Mid City property and the conversation was pretty appalling. Not only did she brag about evicting the 80-something-year-old woman currently occupying it but about evicting others from her properties simply because she feels like it and/or wants her property back. She also made a comment along the lines of “these tenants think they have rights.” Spoiler alert: tenants do have rights. Avoid at all costs.

The Property where I live is always well maintained. And the staff responds to any problems very quickly. I am deducting one star for not having a laundromat on premises but I hope they get one because I really like it here. It's quiet! And a great neighborhood close to the ferry and Point.

Rude!!! They never answer the phone, and when they finally do, it’s with an attitude and a rush to get you off the phone. Definitely would not suggest working with these people.
