I rented a unit at 309 Grant Street in Redlands for one year. I had a horrible experience with Jenn and her maintenance men. Needless to say, if you live at this property and are still having electrical problems, Jenn is well aware of the issue. It started with me discovering a loud buzzing from the breaker box. I hired an electrician that told me that all the breakers for both units were overloaded and that it was a fire danger. In the meantime, Jeff and Jenn were telling me there was no problem and had actually been laying the blame back on me. Jeff, the maintenance man, kept telling me I had too many items plugged in. This was untrue. Finally, the day before I moved out, Jenn sent her own electrician to verify the issue. Jenn's electrician confirmed the same exact thing my electrician did, that the breakers were overloaded and that it was a fire hazard. My lawyer was there to witness that as well. I write this to warn renters. I truly hope they have fixed this problem for the next tenants. Also, due to my complaints of the electrical problems, the maintenance men were coming onto my property, illegally, with no notice. PLEASE BE AWARE OF YOUR RIGHTS. The property management team will lie and do anything they want to do. The property management company has to give tenants a 24 hour notice prior to stepping onto your property. That is California state law. Do not listen to the property management team when it comes to tenant rights. Do your own research or call a lawyer. Most will answer basic questions over the phone for free.
