Very slow to respond to any requests like water leaking, stove not working, you name it!

We paid on time with auto withdrawal every month for 4 years. All windows leaked.. gutters falling down, roof is rotting, I can keep going and going..

Only good thing was they did not hike up the rent every year..

I am a business owner, long time home renter, and pride myself on being a great "reader" of people. About 4 months ago I was looking to move back down to the south end and found a great condo/townhouse in Tacoma offered by Zaran Sayre and Associates Inc. From start to finish they were extremely professional, friendly, and on point in every way. I have rented over 5 properties in the last 15 years and they have been by far the easiest to deal with. Last month the dishwasher went out at the property and they had a technician out with in a few days at my convenience. They put in a new dishwasher and were totally on top of it unlike other landlords/leasing companies that I have dealt with in the past. Marissa is amazing! Her follow up is phenomenal and if she is busy she has her staff reach out for her. They always answer my emails and phone calls and I couldn't be more impressed with them. I will definitely recommend them. I am also planning on purchasing a few investment properties and Marissa at Zaran Sayre is who I will have manage my properties. Its so hard to find people that are passionate about what they do, and that is what you get with Marissa. Thanks for everything and I look forward to doing more business with you in the future!

I recently acquired a property (recently as in nearly 2 months ago now) that was previously under their management. However, there seems to be an oversight as my name hasn't been officially transferred to the property, and a $672 credit remains unapplied to my account.

Presently, this money is essentially dormant on their balance sheet, all while my property is being managed by another company, still registered under the previous owner's name, and with a lingering $672 balance owed.

Despite reaching out to them multiple times, the issue remains unresolved.

My home has been managed by Zaran Sayre and Associates for 10 years. They consistently maintain my home, provide routine inspection reports, and contact me with any needs so I have the opportunity to decide how I would like it handled. They are professional and courteous, and always keep me in the loop with market rate increase suggestions!

Our rental unit was recently changed from an independent agent to Zaran Sayre and lasted approx. 2 months. The hand off and communication from Zaran was terrible from the beginning to end.

Granted the owner of the rental preferred to do their own maintenance, everything still had to go through middle man Zaran Sayre and getting updates between them from the owner was untimely. Maintenance requests submitted through their "portal" often times were cancelled before work was completed and no circle back to tenant was provided to follow up if work was in fact done or acceptable.

When the owner or Zaran ended business with each other; no communication was received. I found out because I couldn't access the portal and only after contacting the office did I receive a voicemail.

While the front desk and the property manager was pleasant, when the property manager was unavailable I often had to speak with the "assistant". The assistant was anything but helpful or professional and was often combative in the communication and tone.

At the time I’m writing this review; I have never had any direct communication with the owner so now we are left without a contact or number for emergent issues until some letter arrives as described.

I can only hope that this agency learns how to treat tenants with decency and respect; and at minimum learn compassion. Nothing is more stressful then a flooded unit and no management team for support.

Unless this way of working and management changes I would rent and buy elsewhere. I know we will NOT be doing any business in the future with Zaran going forward.

They managed my Fathers property for several years and were extremely professional and reliable. It made being an out of state owner a breeze. They rented the property quickly and to decent people that they screened thoroughly. I never had a problem! I also would recommend agent Sandee Baker as she was very helpful in helping me decide whether or not to purchase some property. I can't get anyone to answer my calls. I'm interested in a home in one of his parks but no one responds to calls or emails. As a cash buyer, that's very frustrating! I found a different home though. Glad I don't have to deal with this company!

I am a business owner here in Federal Way. I lived in one of their homes for 6 + years. I had water leakage for more than two years which caused mold issues. The water leakage clearly was never addressed. They reassured me it was fixed and of course I believed them but I continued to have the issue. I had to throw away shoes, purses, clothes, and I was having health issues. I notified the manager about the mold that was causing my family and my self health issues. The manager immediately retaliated and gave the 20 day termination of tenancy notice. She insisted that the mold was caused due to restroom fans not being left on all day. I contacted Service Master to check the home and the rep. said that the leakage had been going on for some time, which led to mold. He said that the humidity level was very high and could cause some serious health issues. I am so thankful I moved out. I feel a lot better now health wise. I am still waiting on my deposit check and for Marissa the manager to return my call. I would never recommend this company to anybody.
