Beautiful slice of paradise! The house is gorgeous and the owner has provided everything we could possibly require. Well equipped kitchen, gorgeous bedrooms with comfortable beds, a sparkling pool surrounded by gorgeous gardens and resident goats that welcome you on arrival. We didn’t want to leave! Can’t wait to come back!

I booked the estate for a bachelorette party and it was PERFECT!! We lounged by the pool, did yoga in the grass, cooked in the kitchen, played games and hung out in the hot tub. It truly was the most perfect escape. Everything was so organized from start to finish and I would love to stay again.

Our family spend a wonderful weekend at Zegarra Estate celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday with her friends. The house and gardens are spacious, with lots of fun touches (disco ball, game room, art sculptures). We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, long driveway with vineyards and sheep, and could have stayed there all week without wanting to leave. The close proximity to Sebastopol was great too - the friendly and knowledgeable owner, Vanessa, gave us plenty of useful information about the area and recommended some great restaurants and wineries. Kitchen and BBQ area are all fully stocked making for great place to eat outdoors and entertain in such a beautiful retreat-like setting. Great area to explore and we hope to be back!

Zegarra Estate is an INCREDIBLE find - we've stayed at over 30 short term rentals and this is by far my family's favorite!

The home was sparkling clean upon arrival and the surround sound music was very welcoming. It was beautifully furnished, but very cozy and comfortable to stay in at the same time. We just loved exploring the grounds, which felt like an adventure.

Although the property is centrally located to lots of activities like vineyards, the beach, oyster heaven, Safari West, etc we were forced to stay indoors due to rain one day - what a delight that turned out to be! We put on a fire, played board games, cooked an incredible meal, the kids had the bravery to jump and swim in the heated pool, and we even danced in the living room (which we never thought we would have done!) for a couple hours with the strobe lights and disco ball going. It was fun like we haven't had in a long time!

Vanessa is a great host and was very responsive, giving us a number of local recommendations. We loved how Willow wood, just down the road, was down to earth had great coffee and high quality food for lunch and brunch. The best thing about the host was that she was reachable when we needed her, but otherwise were given privacy when we wanted to focus on our family.

Our 3 kids and 2 dogs absolutely loved exploring down by the creek. It really felt as if you were in your own private creek and it was fun navigating around the water to get as far as we could and skip stones across the water. My kids would regularly run outside to try to get closer to the Sheep, but unfortunately they were a bit shy the times we saw them - maybe next time. The games room was incredibly stocked with tons of activities. It just seemed like there was always something to do here. We stayed here for 5 nights, but feel it was even too short! We hope to come back and recommend Zegarra Estate to family and friends!

Zegarra Estate is such a peaceful oasis. When not lounging by the pool and enjoying its beautiful setting, there is so much to explore from the running creek, to the stables and vineyard, including a wonderful community. It’s close to the Barlow, a beautiful outdoor market with local food, wine/beer/spirits and unique shops with crafts made by locals. So much to do on and off the property. Perfect retreat for anyone looking to get away for a weekend, a week or longer. I can’t wait to return!

The Zegarra Estate is a wonderful, magical private estate nestled in the heart of Sonoma County in the town of Sebastopol. Upon arrival, I was taken aback by the gorgeous, lush, private and spacious grounds and was warmly welcomed by the towering palm trees and colorful flowers. The bright open floor plan allows an opportunity for large families or groups of friends to be together in one place or you may sneak away to several other areas for peace and quiet, such as the separate cottage, pool area, stables or barn. In addition, the barn and stable areas are ideal for large parties and events of any kind! Graced with high-end finishes, incredible artwork including a disco ball, this estate provides a casual but elegant environment to enjoy your wine country getaway. This slice of paradise is surrounded by world-class wineries, Safari West, Charles M. Schulz Museum, Redwood Empire Ice Arena or Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, hiking/biking trails and minutes to the wonderful bars and restaurants in Gratton and Sebastopol! It is truly utopia for only the discriminating guest!

An oasis for those who are looking for a retreat. This is ranch living set on a large lot with a comfortable home and guest house. I stayed here and loved the classic pool, rustic barn, and the lush grounds are truly an experience. The home is also close to downtown Sebastopol. I definitely recommend staying here. The home is clean, offers great accommodations and the host is professional!

A beautiful getaway with the most amazing natural surroundings. Perfect for families or friends to sneak away for a week or two or for an extended stay to really relax. We loved picking lettuce and herbs from the garden for lunch and enjoying the refreshing pool. A must if you can get away!
