We just loved this cozy cabin. Located in a quiet neighborhood, yet so close to downtown, it was perfect for us. The heater kept the cabin nice and warm during a snow storm. The decor is perfect for a mountain cabin. It's just lovely. We will definitely rent this perfect little gem again.

The cabin was great and had nearly everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and bake anything we wanted. The movie collection could use some sprucing up because there was mainly romance and comedies with very little selections of action movies. Also having more board games available would be great.

Loved our cabin, but especially loved the service from Big Bear Vacations. I’ve stayed with them two prior times, and everything is so easy - check in, communication through their concierge service, the cleanliness and upkeep of the property.

Example: When we checked in, the smoke detector battery was chirping on the very high second floor ceiling so I wrote the concierge, and within 20 mins, someone was there to change out all the smoke detector battery for us. Another example: It snowed while we were there, and I asked which highways were safe to drive, they pointed me to CalTrans and shared the latest weather info.

There are so many property rental options in Big Bear, but they are the best.

Scheduled our stay from Tuesday to Saturday! This cabin home is absolutely charming and cozy, situated at the end of a lengthy driveway. The bedrooms are roomy with a generous mud/laundry room. The house offers a sense of privacy. In the backyard you'll find multiple seating spots, even a swing. The lake view is truly breathtaking. We would definitely bookagain.

From the moment we arrived at Shore Acres Lodge, we knew we were in for a treat. We were welcomed by Delaney who was helpful and friendly and pointed us in the direction of our lodging.

The cabin itself was cute and cozy, comfortably furnished, and equipped with all the amenities we needed.

The lake, a stone's throw from our cabin, had a dock where the kids could fish and launch their kayak.

The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. The water was clear and invigorating, providing us with a much-needed respite from the summer heat.

Besides catching up with friends, another highlight of our stay had to be watching the meteor shower. With minimal light pollution, the sky was a canvas of stars, each one shining brighter than the last.

The management at Big Bear Vacations deserves a special shout-out for their attention to detail and hospitality. Christina Lindsey ensured our stay was organized and comfortable and Rhiannon Voest was more than happy to share tips on making the most of our weekend.

In summary, our weekend at Shore Acres Lodge was not just a getaway; it rejuvenated our spirits and gave us family memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Whether you're a nature lover, an adventure seeker, or just in need of some peace and quiet, Shore Acres Lodge is a perfect getaway. We left with heavy hearts and the kids begging for an extra day but promised ourselves to return soon.

Wonderful vac! Great view! Our family (five adults and three kids) enjoyed the spaciousness of this unit. We ate many meals at the large table on the deck overlooking the inlet. Several family games in the unit and a pool table and hot tub. Location was convenient to the marina. Also a very short drive to several fun activities. It was also great watching all of the wildlife from the deck and gorgeous sunrise over the water. We had a couple minor concerns, and they were quickly handled. The management team was quick to reply to any questions. Look forward to staying again.

I was connected to Camila from Big Bear Vacations who was so helpful with booking our cabin and giving us a fair price. She also made herself available for any questions I had. Big Bear Vacations also made checking into our cabin easy and worked as fast as they could to get maintenance to our cabin when we had an issue with the power. Other than that, our stay was great! The cabin was beautifully kept and the perfect size for our group of 11. Thank you Big Bear Vacations!

Blue Bear Chalet was the cutest little place.Close to Snow Summit, centrally located to everything else. We enjoy our weekend here, will definitely be back! Big Bear Cabin was wonderful checking in on our stay and meeting all our needs!
