We got two rooms one for us and another for our in laws. Both had mold and were dirty. They also charged our card 5 times totaling well over 1500$ in charges. Their website offers “deluxe rooms” starting at $149 but they told my family that the lowest price they have is $159.

We had a leisure stay at the Ward Lodge for Easter. I love that the hotel was close to the MCX, the bowling alley, and restaurants. The room was decent for the price they are somewhat dated, but overall, it was nice enough that we didn't have any issues. The free breakfast was actually really good and was similar to what you would find at any other hotel. The staff was pleasant and had great customer service. Check out was a breeze. They have a nice patio with a gas fireplace and nice patio seating where you can BBQ. They are also very kid friendly and have a jungle gym type play area for children. Pets are allowed while we didn't bring ours we did see others with theirs!

Nice rooms, safe, clean, squared away and a great price ... I stay here every time I'm in Oceanside. Wish it was closer to the water, but the drive is worth it.

Rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Was able to fall asleep so fast. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Thank you all for everything and for making my stay pleasant.

The facility is well kept. The rooms are on the older side, but they have what you need. If you are looking for luxury, then you'll pay for it at hotels outside the base. I love that it is well located, you can find everything you need within minutes. They have an eatery place, a coffee place, a gas station, a pool , a bowling alley, a movie theater, and a small MCX. Plus, the facility is secured because it is inside the base. It's worth the money. Highly recommended it.

I'd describe this place as a fancy roach motel. This place is horrible and I suggest only booking here if its an emergency and you have nowhere to stay. So this place is really ghetto; the moment we walked in there was a musty smell and my family and I noticed the walls were quite thin so we heard EVERYTHING. The floors were all dusty and everything was pretty dirty. Room service only comes 4 days after you arrived and the water in the sink was clogged so it wasn't able to drain. We only have one roll of toilet paper and we were worried we might run out since we couldn't make any trips sooner. In conclusion, if I could I'd give this place 0 stars, again, don't come here unless its an emergency.

There was a chunks of glass on the carpet in our room. My son went to put on his shoes and as he sat down with his legs on the carpet first, he cut himself on broken glass. Would not recommend this hotel unless you have no other choice and are on a budget.

This hotel is only serviving because it is base lodging and if your traveling on orders you have to attempt to stay here first before going anywhere else. Paper thin walls. I would rather sleep on an air mattress than these beds. Linen is sub par and wall unit AC has a hard time maintaining room temperature. Stay here only if you have to. Also breakfast was 2/5. I would rather eat at a chow hall. It had options and it is free/included with the stay so can't ask for much. But atlest update what you serve food in. Now I would say the staff are very nice and helpful. Overall site is. Lean and has ni e patio are in the middle of the common area. Small play ground for kids and is close to basic shopping and needs. All in all if you want a good night's sleep don't stay here. If you want cheap and basic needs with a kitchenet then this is your place.
