Grand Havoc is a scam. I thought they would replace my 12 year old water heater when it failed. Then I found out they only cover repairs. The new installer said he has never “repaired “ a water heater in 10 years Only installed new. Who is the “registered agent” for Grand Havoc”

This company is a scam. My original water heater lease, which I had for over 20 years who replaced the heater twice, was transferred to this company about five years ago. When the heater broke they came out and claimed that part of the heater wasn’t covered and it ended costing me $250. Now it broke again and this time needed to be replaced. I was then told they no longer cover heater replacement. Avoid them at all costs.

We lease our hot water tank and our hot water tank stopped working on a Sunday and we called and asked to be called back in the order taken, but it never happened. Monday morning, we called again, and I emailed the manager directly and I have to say they called back and so did Harry Jigamian the manager of Grand HVAC and made sure we were taking care of and told us to directly call his cell number if they do not return our call again. He apologized and made sure we are on the books. I do believe the name of the company that came out was Fast Water Heater Services came out and Matt took good care of us. Thank you for taking that extra step Harry! And thank Matt again for us!

This company has been incredibly frustrating to deal with as a consumer. When I took over a lease, I was never informed about the payoff amount—only that I needed to make monthly payments. Now that I’m selling my house and moving, I’ve learned that I could have paid off the water heater and might be making payments just for maintenance.

Whenever I call, no one can provide clarity on whether I still owe money on the lease. They have to escalate it to accounting for what seems like a straightforward question. The representatives mention they explain this to customers daily, suggesting a serious need for a better system. I've never encountered a company that doesn’t readily provide basic lease information. Waiting days for a response via email is unprofessional and deeply frustrating.

They can't seem to get received payments posted correctly. They are claiming I haven't paid on my account since 2023. My bank generates a paper check to them because for some reason an electronic payment can not be made. I am emotionally drained from multiple communications with these scammers. I recommend do not use this company they are terrible extremely poor business practices and deceptive.

What a bad way to do business! Constantly, almost monthly, being told that they didn't receive payment, and charging a late fee for that, yet the checks have been cashed by them. Nobody seems to know how things work in their company especially with the payments and contracts. We were eagerly waiting for the end of the contract only to be told that it was automatically renewed when we didn't answer the email they sent. They did not send an email, and argued with me that they did. They will not send me proof that an email was sent so they think that I'm stuck. They said we could cancel the contract but we would have to pay the full year minus 2%. I'm actually considering getting a lawyer to prove they are conducting fraudulent practises and collecting monies not due to them. I did not agree to another painful year of dealing with this shady company. I'm positive that my attorney can prove that they didn't send the email making it illegal to force me to pay for a contract I didn't sign up for. The frustration we feel monthly because of there total incompetence, would make it worth the money for an attorney just to never have to deal with them again. steer clear of this company!!!

This company really needs to be investigated by the WA State Attorney General for consumer fraud. Thirty months, yes 30 months after leasing a water heater from them they informed us that we weren't paying the correct amount and we need to pay an additional $900.00 to bring the account current. So, yeah I spent $750.00 at Home Depot and put a new water heater in. Don't lease residential water heaters its a scam.

My late partner and I had been renting our water heater from Grand HVAC Leasing since PSE sold our lease to them some 7-10 yrs ago. The water heater was old at that time so it should not have been a surprise when it failed on March 2, 2023. I notified Grand HVAC immediately. Their contractor came out, inspected the unit and declared it dead. Rather than sign up for a new lease (at 3x the previous rate), I chose to buy my own. I notified Grand HVAC of my decision to not sign a new lease and requesting confirmation that the lease has been terminated 3 times. Once by phone and two times in writing. I included one notice to their corporate office in Chicago. To date, I have heard nothing back and they are *still charging me for the lease.* I went so far as to go into their customer portal and remove the credit card on file for automatic payments and they *still* billed the card. Do not do business with them. They market themselves as a way to get a new water heater without all the up front & maintenance costs (by the way, they do zero maintenance on the tanks. Read the lease. That's all on you.) but you are better off buying one and financing it. At least that way you won't be charged in perpetuity.
Addenda: It took 2 months but they finally stopped billing me and refunded the extra month’s charges. However, I stand by my original review. It should not have been that hard.
